Dear Friends in Messiah, The trumpet for Britain has sounded and sounded! The Trumpet for Israel is sounding loudly! Where are we going in this once ‘great’ nation? What have we done with our Legacy, our Christian Heritage? From the shores of these Islands, missionaries throughout the ages, burning with the Fire of His Love and the Message of Salvation sailed to distant lands, overcoming dreadful hardships, some of which we have never tasted, just to answer the call to ‘go’.

Because of the continued faithfulness of our Yahweh, many missionaries have come to Britain during the past few years, answering their calls to ‘go to the land I shall tell you’. Oh what a harvest, if we would hear what the Spirit is saying! Many of these missionaries are from the Continent of Africa, the very people we had once made slaves. They have settled here with the Fire of the Gospel, the love of His Word and the dedication to continued prayer. Sadly, they are mainly reaching their own brothers in their ‘Diaspora‘. They long to be a part of Britain and to see this nation come to repentance and full restoration of the Gospel of Messiah.

As I pen this letter, I weep, as I am one of these from the Continent of Africa. I should like to introduce myself at this point. I am one of those little ones that has been grafted back into the olive tree as one of the natural branches.
In May 2002 whilst visiting my family here in Britain, I received a ‘call/invitation’ to come to this nation - ‘Will you come and light fire in this nation?’ Because I had been in a time of prayer and fasting many months prior to this, I knew I had heard the voice of the Spirit clearly. This call was delivered to me in a tiny Methodist Church in the Lake District. I returned to South Africa to make the necessary arrangements.

Within four months, I landed in Britain, shutting the doors to my country, not really knowing where I should be ultimately planted. My family living in Loughborough, invited me to stay whilst I ’found my way’. Graciously, Yahweh has planted me in the East Midlands.
The first thing that occurred above finding ‘a suitable place to live‘, was the introduction to the ‘true Body of Messiah’. I was led to a marvellous network of dear friends, all with the passion and love for Messiah, His Hebrew people and His covenant land, Israel. This network plays a significant role in the lighting of His Fire! My dear friends, Peter and Beth Avallone are one of these couples. I am so grateful to know and love them. We can do so much even when we are few just because we are in unity!

During these past 3,5 years, I have learnt much about this nation. The shock was almost unbearable… Primarily, I have been drawn to study the lives of John Wesley and the Prophet Elijah. I pray specifically that the anointings placed upon these men and their ministries will be resuscitated and released in the days to come. Our Yahweh still has a destiny for this Nation - He has not given up even if He has only a small remnant.
I recognise and know that the only way this shall be made possible, is through the power of Prayer and Fasting. This must come through the Corporate Body of Messiah here in Britain. Our African brothers would agree! Dear friends, how shall we proceed? With our nation deteriorating in every sphere of life? There is one message Messiah has for us at this juncture. Prayer, Fasting and Intercession. It is the very thing we do not wish to do, but the very thing we must do, if we are to be a part of the true Body of Messiah. He has an end-time Church He would raise with the anointing of Ruach HaKodesh, Holy Fire! Such was upon the Prophet Elijah and John Wesley.
It is this specific anointing that this generation needs if there is to be any change. Most certainly, we are so down the road to destruction already. But, we must and can repent before our Yahweh, no matter the cost. This process will also prepare us for Messiah’s return.

Dear brothers and sisters, I am reminded of the passage of scripture when the three Hebrew men were thrown into the fire during the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar. Whether there would be deliverance of their lives or not, they would not bow down to false gods! Where are we in these last end-time days?

II Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) ‘If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land’.

We must restore the broken-down Altars of Prayer in this land. Small groups of people, faithful to Messiah, many, many women….. We must dedicate our homes as Altars to our Yahweh and begin to call on Him and seek His face. Our Hebrew Fathers well understood the importance of Altars. They are places of dedication to our Yahweh. When we build them, we will meet with Him during worship by prayer and fasting. From these altars, will proceed His answers, Divine Intervention, Restoration and Guidance for the way forward. This is one way to fulfil II Chron.7:14. The power of the Ruach will be released upon us through this simple, hidden way!

It will take intercessors both young and old, some without any knowledge of intercession and prayer, to bow the knee and begin to call on Yahweh of Israel. It will take time, commitment and honour of our Messiah’s name to do this. We have no choice. We are accountable to our King to humble ourselves and cry out.
We so desperately need the ‘gift of tears’ in this season. Are not our hearts so hard? Then we must call on the Spirit of Yahweh to change us and break our hard hearts for the sin of this nation. We must repent together, in our little groups and cry out. The bowls of incense must be full and we have a long way to go, but we are able to answer this clarion call.

Many of us already pray for the Land of Israel and His Jewish people. We are to combine this intercession with ours, for Britain. We are linked with His people and Land as one would see a figure ‘8’. That is Yahweh’s mandate for us! As I write to you, I have blown the Shofar over this letter. The alarm has gone out and He awaits us to come on our knees and meet with Him, face to Face. Come away Bride! Watchmen! Gather the intercessors (it’s not the job of pastors) and lead them in intercession. Train them where necessary, so that the Army of our Yahweh will rise up and resound over this nation and over the nation of Israel with their prayers!

Women Arise!    Men arise!   Young and Old! All arise!
